'Crazy woke talk': Report says foul-mouthed Kari Lake is in deep denial as campaign flails

Foul-mouthed comments from MAGA Republican Kari Lake show the Arizona senatorial candidate is in deep denial about how badly her campaign is struggling, according to a new report.

Lake repeatedly swore during a conversation with Politico, revealed Sunday, about poll numbers that show she has alienated supporters of the late Sen. John McCain — and even some voters for former President Donald Trump.

When Politico suggested sexism might be a reason she's consistently lagged behind Democratic opponent Rep. Ruben Gallego, Lake did not mince words.

"“Bulls--- — that’s just crazy woke talk,” Lake reportedly said. “I’m not voting based on somebody’s genitalia. I don’t give a s--- about that."

While Trump is neck-and-neck with Vice President Kamala Harris in Arizona, a key swing state, Lake has been falling far behind, according to Politico.

Politico dubbed her campaign a "cautionary tale" for down-ballot Republicans who embrace Trump and his signature tactics.

Gallego's campaign had brought in nearly triple Lake's fundraising haul by mid-October, with $57.4 million to Lake's $21.3 million, according to Politico.

A New York Times/Siena poll released Sunday showed Gallego was up by 5 points and claiming 10 percent of Trump voters, according to the report.

But the "fervent MAGA rabble-rouser" said she does not believe any of the data that show her far behind.

“My internal polling looks good,” Lake said in campaign bus interview. “We’re ahead of my opponent, and I feel comfortable with our polling.”

Lake explained her polling was "a little different," according to Politico.

"We take polling, but we also combine it with AI," Lake said, "which reads all of what’s happening on social media and across the internet.”
