87 candidates exit Maharashtra poll contest in Latur

Eighty-seven candidates in Maharashtra's Latur district withdrew nominations for the upcoming assembly elections. Key withdrawals include Ashok Patil Nilangekar in Nilanga and Vishwajeet Gaikwad in Udgir. The withdrawals leave 106 candidates vying for six assembly seats. Over 2,000 polling stations are set up for the 2 million registered voters, including 76,000 new voters.
