U.S. Defense Department announces new director of Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies

The Defense Department announced Monday retired Maj. Gen. Suzanne Puanani Vares-Lum, who served 34 years in the U.S. Army, will take over next year as the new director for the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies.
