Western Heights High School on lockdown, says Superintendent
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Western Heights Public School (WHPS) officials say, the high school campus is on a hard lockdown as of 12:00 p.m. due to a threat made against a High School Administrator and families have been informed.
According to WHPS district, the threat came from an outside source via telephone. Currently, the Middle School and Winds West sites are adjacent to the High School are also on lockdown as a precautionary measures.
Local city and county law enforcement are working to pursue the source of the threat, says the District.
