Anthony Davis probable, Rui Hachimura questionable vs. Sixers
After missing Wednesday’s game in Memphis, Anthony Davis looks set to return to the floor on Friday against the Sixers.
Anthony Davis looks set for a return to the Lakers lineup. After missing Wednesday’s game against the Grizzlies, Davis is listed as probable for Friday’s game against the Sixers.
Rui Hachimura, who also was out in Memphis, is listed as questionable with an illness. Jaxson Hayes was added to the injury report with left knee soreness but is probable.

Interestingly, AD’s injury was designated as a left heel contusion ahead of Wednesday’s game. Now, it’s listed as plantar fasciitis. It’s likely the Lakers just got more information on the injury and realized fully what it was, but it’s still worth noting.
Also interesting is that none of Quincy Olivari, Armel Traore or Jalen Hood-Schifino are on the report either. That trio, along with Christian Koloko before Wednesday’s game, had spent the week with South Bay during their preseason.
While the Lakers got favorable injury news ahead of Friday’s game, things are trending much differently for the Sixers.
Early in the week, the NBA announced Joel Embiid would be suspended for three games, which includes the game against the Lakers. Then, on Wednesday, Tyrese Maxey suffered a hamstring injury against the Clippers, which will also keep him out of Friday’s game.
Considering the Lakers are returning to Crypto.com Arena losers of four of their last five, it’s setting for a very winnable game. Or possibly the worst loss of the season with how that road trip has the Lakers trending.
