Telia Finland to cut around 500, create 45 new positions

TELIA on Tuesday announced it has completed the consultative negotiations it initiated in Finland in September.

The Stockholm, Sweden-based telecommunications operator revealed that it has decided to shed around 500 positions in the country, accounting for one-eighth of its headcount of 4,000, but also begin a recruitment effort to fill 45 new positions.
