Grand opening for new Marshalls store in Bennington set

BENNINGTON, Vt. (NEWS10)-- A nationwide retail store is opening a new store at 19 Kocher Drive at Bennington Square. Marshalls will host a grand opening on Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Marshalls offers designer products and name brands at a low price for the whole family. From clothes, shoes, dishes and bedding, you can find the full product list or shop online at the Marshalls website.

"We believe that everyone deserves to get the good stuff™, and we are excited to bring that to shoppers in Bennington. With new items arriving weekly, this store will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend, and brand-name merchandise all at the amazing prices that Marshalls is known for," Peter Benjamin, President of Marshalls, said in a statement. 

At the grand opening the store plans on donating $10,000 to United Counseling Service of Bennington County. In addition, the store plans on adding approximately 60 full and part-time jobs for the community.

After the grand opening happens, normal store hours will be in place. Marshalls will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.

Marshalls was first acquired by the TJX company in 1995. TJX also owns TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Sierra and HomeSense.
