Lebanon – Incident against UNIFIL peacekeepers (November 7, 2024)

France condemns the November 7th incident that left peacekeepers physically injured, following an attack that took place close to a United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) convoy near Saida, despite the prior communication of the convoy's itinerary. Five Malaysian peacekeepers were injured. Five other peacekeepers had already been injured over the past several weeks following deliberate Israeli attacks, which are unjustifiable and must cease.
