Myanmar refugees: Mizo student leader arrested for misappropriating Covid funds

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Mizoram arrested Mizo Students' Union (MSU) leader Samuel Zoramthanpuia on charges of misappropriating funds intended for Covid-19 relief and aid for Myanmar refugees. Zoramthanpuia allegedly misused Rs. 50 lakh from the Health and Family Welfare Department and Rs. 15 lakh donated by the Chin Health Organisation.
