Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger welcome third child together – and reveal very unusual name
CHRIS Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have welcomed their third child together.
The couple – who are also parents to daughters Lyla Maria, four, and Eloise Christina, two – shared the happy news on social media.
Hollywood star Katherine, 34, revealed that she had welcomed a baby on Friday, on November 8.
The happy couple have named their son Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt..
Katherine and her Magnificent Seven actor husband said they were “so blessed and grateful” with the new addition to their family.
In a heartwarming post, Chris wrote: “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt.
“Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival.”
He sweetly added: “We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”
Since sharing the special announcement, the couple have been inundated with messages of congratulations.
Katherine is an American author and the eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and NBC broadcast journalist Maria Shriver.
When did Katherine Schwarzenegger marry Chris Pratt?
Rumors circulated that Katherine and Chris were dating after they were spotted together in July 2018.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on June 8, 2019, at the luxurious San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.
Katherine confirmed their nuptials in an Instagram post, alongside a photo of herself and Chris with the caption: “Yesterday was the best day of our lives!
“We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love.
“It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives.
“We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for me to wear and for Chris, the perfect suit.
“This morning we feel nothing but blessed.”

Katherine and Chris welcomed their second daughter, Eloise Christina on May 21, 2022.
In a post on Instagram, Schwarzenegger wrote, “We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt.
“We feel beyond blessed and grateful. Love , Katherine and Chris.”
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Lyla Marie, on August 10, 2020, but they have worked to keep their family life private, often shielding their firstborn’s face in posts on social media.
Katherine told Today in March 2021 that this decision stemmed from her own upbringing as a child.
The daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger said: “I think that one of the greatest gifts that my parents ever gave me and my siblings is the gift of privacy and having a really normal upbringing, or as normal of an upbringing as possible.”
Chris also has a 12-year-old son, Jack, with his ex-wife, Anna Faris.
