Kiowa County Sheriff's Office responds to train derailment near Lone Wolf
LONE WOLF, Okla. (KFOR) — The Kiowa County Sheriff's Office responded to a train derailment that left several train cars overturned south of Lone Wolf on Wednesday morning.
Authorities are warning drivers to be cautious while traveling along Hwy 44 near Lone Wolf in case of possible equipment left in the area.
According to the sheriff's office, Farmrail will be working to clean up the area following the incident.
No injuries were reported as a result of the derailment. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
