He decided to try something drastically different in 2021 and embraced life as a full-time farmer, which was featured on series one of Fletchers’ Family Farm.
Now the Fletchers are planning to expand their foray into agriculture by welcoming a herd of pregnant cows to their farm.
Season two will also see the family tackling a highly anticipated lambing season, and taking on the showring as Kelvin’s kids make their debut at the county fair.
Kelvin shared his enthusiasm for the fresh installment of his TV show, saying: “We’re incredibly excited to return to filming for the second series of Fletchers’ Family Farm. The response from our viewers has been truly heartwarming and inspiring!”
His wife Liz, who is an actress and model, added: “It’s a genuine honour to invite the viewers back to our farm as we continue on this journey.”
The show is being produced by Leeds-based Daisybeck Studios, and the upcoming season will last for ten episodes.
Each of them is set to be an hour long.
Ben Harris, the Executive Producer at Daisybeck Studios, has shared: “Life on the farm is busier than ever, with new livestock, an increasingly challenging market, and four young children in tow.
“Kelvin and Liz truly have their work cut out for them, and we’ll be there to capture every moment as they face each challenge head-on.”
When Kelvin first announced the existence of the show on Instagram, he told followers: “If you’ve been sat there wondering what these random farming and outdoor pictures are all about well now you know!
“We have literally jumped in at the deep end and bought a farm!”
The former soap star joked: “A reluctant wife, two crazy kids and a husband with knowledge of farming you could write on the back of a stamp! What could possibly go wrong?!”
