NYSP ask for help with Lake George armed robbery

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- State Police are asking the public for information about an armed robbery at a Route 9 gas station in Lake George. The robbery happened on Friday, November 15, around 9:07 p.m.

Troopers responded to Extra Mart Mobile Gas Station just off Exit 21 of the Northway for an armed robbery and were unable to find the suspect, whom their investigation determined was a man in a black hoodie with white writing, black pants, white shoes, a ski mask, and a hat. The suspect approached two customers pumping gas at 9 p.m. and demanded their purses.

Troopers said the suspect showed the victims what looked like a handgun in the waistband of their pants. The man walked east on Route 9N after stealing items from the victims.
