Rayne police: Two men accused of robbing Dollar General of $28 at gunpoint
RAYNE, La. (KLFY) -- One arrest has been made in connection with an armed robbery of a Dollar General but a second suspect remains at large, according to the Rayne Police Department.
Rayne Police Chief Carroll Stelly said the armed robbery occurred Thursday, Nov. 14, around 9:30 p.m. at the Dollar General located on Louisiana Avenue.
Stelly said the suspects allegedly wore face masks and were armed with at least one handgun during the incident. A total of $28 was taken from the business before the suspects fled the scene, Stelly said.
On Friday, 30-year-old Rayvon Robert Gore-Willis, of Lafayette, was arrested and charged with one count of armed robbery with a firearm enhancement in connection with the incident. Police said Gore-Willis was taken into custody after a "stop of the 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe" that was believed to be used during the crime.

A second suspect, 28-year-old Dearreo Rayshawn Jones, of Lafayette, is the second suspect in the case, according to police. He is wanted on one count of armed robbery with a firearm enhancement.
