‘Reasonable Doubt’ Star Emayatzy Corinealdi Wows In Emerald Green Dress and Louboutin Pumps at Ebony’s 2024 Power 100 Gala

Emayatzy Corinealdi is quickly cementing herself as a style star to watch. The “Reasonable Doubt” star arrived at the 2024 Ebony Power 100 Gala at Nya Studios on Nov. 17 in Los Angeles, California dressed to the nines in an emerald green ensemble from Sebastian Gunawan Signature.

The dress made its debut at the designer’s “Oru Kami” Fashion Show Collection 2024/2025 and appears to be a two-piece ensemble made up of a long fitted skirt with a slit over the left leg and a sleeveless corset-like top, in which the top half is made of a lighter share of green.

Corinealdi wore hers with a pair of long black leather gloves, wearing rings on top, and kept the rest of her jewelry understated. She added drama to the look by stepping into a pair of the popular and highly coveted So Kate pumps by Christian Louboutin.

The shoes, named after supermodel Kate Moss, and beloved by celebrities like Zendaya and Kate Middleton, add a level of sleek elegance and power to any ensemble. The heels come in a variety of colors and styles, and the actress, who was styled by Bryon Javar, opted for the 5-inch suede pumps variation.

Corinealdi was at the event to present an award to U.S. Rep. Nikema Williams, who accepted the Icon Award on behalf of honoree U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris. Corinealdi stars in Hulu’s hit show “Reasonable Doubt” as defense attorney Jax Stewart. The series, which premiered in September 2022, airs under the Onyx Collective brand and recently completed its second season.

Christian Louboutin’s iconic “So Kate” pumps are defined by their pointed toe and thin stiletto heel. Corinealdi’s pair were crafted from black suede and feature a leg-lengthening low vamp and are completed by the designer’s signature red soles.
