'Hammer of Justice': Pre-dawn Elon Musk rant paints Matt Gaetz as Judge Dredd
Underneath the big head of hair, former Rep. Matt Gaetz has a "big brain" and is ready to become a "Hammer of Justice," the richest man in the world said on his social media site about 2 a.m.
President-elect Donald Trump's billionaire buddy Elon Musk threw whole-hearted support early Tuesday morning behind his choice for attorney general, despite Gaetz's embroilment in an Ethics probe into accusations he sexually assaulted a minor.
"Matt Gaetz has 3 critical assets that are needed for the AG role: a big brain, a spine of steel and an axe to grind," Musk wrote. "He is the Judge Dredd America needs to clean up a corrupt system and put powerful bad actors in prison."
These comments echo Trump's campaign trail threats to sic the military on political rivals he dubbed "the enemy from within."

Gaetz, who called for the Justice Department to be abolished as Trump faced investigation over accusations of election interference and Espionage Act violations, will be "our Hammer of Justice," Musk added.
Musk — the SpaceX CEO — dismissed accusations that Gaetz was seen sexually assaulting an underaged girl, paid for sex and attended drug-fueled parties.
"As for these accusations against him, I consider them worth less than nothing," Musk wrote. "Under our laws, a man is considered innocent until proven guilty."
Musk concluded by dubbing current Attorney General Merrick Garland an "unprincipled douchebag."
