Fifth annual Christmas event coming to the Sunset Zoo
MANHATTAN (KSNT) - The Sunset Zoo in Manhattan will be holding its fifth Santa's Luminary Trail event later this month.
From 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, the Sunset Zoo will be lit up for its annual visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Guests can enjoy the Christmas decorations while taking a trip around the African Trail Loop.
Guests can take pictures, have some warm drinks, sweet treats, arts & crafts, story time and animal encounters inside the Nature Exploration Center.
"Bringing the community together is part of what we do at Sunset Zoo to inspire conservation of the natural world as part of our mission," said Scott Shoemaker, Director of Sunset Zoo. "We hope all who attend learn a little more about animal conservation and have a wonderful start to the holiday season."
Proceeds from this year's event will help with the conservation efforts at the zoo. Tickets will be available in person during regular business hours or online. For more information on the event, click here.
