Rs 20 water bottle sold at Rs 41, cafe fined Rs 5,000 in Vadodara

A Vadodara cafe learned a costly lesson about overcharging customers. When a man was charged double the MRP for a water bottle, he took the matter to consumer court. After a seven-year battle, the court sided with the consumer, ordering the cafe to pay compensation for the overcharge, mental harassment, and legal fees.
