Tottenham fans announce exciting TIFO for London derby vs Chelsea
The social media account THFC Flags has announced some exciting plans for Tottenham’s upcoming against Chelsea on December 8.
The atmosphere will be electric for the London derby
The atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is usually at its best during an evening kick-off for a big game.
With Chelsea set to visit the venue on November 8, Sunday, with kick-off at 4 pm, one would expect the stadium to be buzzing and for the away side to be confronted with an intimidating setting.
THFC flags have now just announced an initiative that would serve to make the atmosphere even more electric.
TIFO plans announced
They have taken to social media to confirm that a new Tifo will be unveiled ahead of kick-off on derby day.
The Tifo will feature the club’s iconic Latin moto: ‘Audere est Facere’, which will be written in a unique gothic font, which will be a sight for sore eyes.
THFC flags revealed that they need volunteers to help lay out the Tifo and that anyone interested in helping out can email them at thfcflags@gmail.com.
Spurs fans should use Tifos more regularly
We have seen some beautiful Tifos in the South Stand over the last few years, but it has been a while since the last one went up.
With the South Stand being the largest single stand in the UK, it lends itself perfectly to Tifos, which is why Tottenham fans should do this often. It certainly sets the tone for the atmosphere and can be intimidating for opposition sides.
