Joe Biden Gives Ex Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards Medal of Freedom in Secret Ceremony
In a secret ceremony, Joe Biden awarded the former CEO of America’s biggest abortion business.
Biden presented the nation’s highest civilian award to Cecile Richards, who ran the Planned Parenthood abortion giant for years and was responsible for it killing millions of babies.
“The ceremony was not listed on Mr. Biden’s public schedule, nor was his decision to award the medal to Ms. Richards publicly announced until after the presentation,” the Washington Times reported. “Members of the media were not invited to watch the ceremony, which was not live-streamed on the White House website.”
“With absolute courage and conviction, Cecile Richards fearlessly leads us forward to be the America we say we are — a nation of freedom,” Mr. Biden said in a statement. “Carrying her parents’ torch for justice, she’s led some of our nation’s most important civil rights causes — to lift up the dignity of workers, defend and advance women’s reproductive rights and equality and mobilize Americans to exercise their power to vote.”

“With absolute courage and conviction, Cecile Richards fearlessly leads us forward to be the America we say we are — a nation of freedom,” Biden said of the radical abortion activist. “Carrying her parents’ torch for justice, she’s led some of our nation’s most important civil rights causes — to lift up the dignity of workers, defend and advance women’s reproductive rights and equality and mobilize Americans to exercise their power to vote.”
He called the pro-abortion extremist as “a leader of the utmost character,” who has “carved an inspiring legacy that endures in her incredible family, the countless lives she has made better and a nation seeking the light of equality, justice and freedom.”
Previously, Richards defended the abortion she once had for birth control reasons.
The details of Richards’ abortion first came to light in October 2014. Planned Parenthood does over 330,000 abortions on an annual basis and Richards opened up about her own abortion in an essay published in Elle — writing that she thinks of more women share their abortion decisions it will stop the “stigma” surrounding abortion.
“I had an abortion. It was the right decision for me and my husband, and it wasn’t a difficult decision,” Richards wrote then. “Before becoming president of Planned Parenthood eight years ago, I hadn’t really talked about it beyond family and close friends. But I’m here to say, when politicians argue and shout about abortion, they’re talking about me — and millions of other women around the country.”
