Max’s arrival in the Philippines comes after a September 2024 study by consulting firm Kantar Brandz found that Filipinos are quickly shifting to online streaming platforms. According to the study, Filipinos’ growing preference of online streaming is attributed to the flexibility it gives viewers to choose what, when, and where to watch without disruptions.
Max joins Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Viu, and Apple TV+, among others, in the pool of streaming services available in the Philippines. – with reports from Rowz Fajardo/Rappler.com
