Supporter’s Arrangements and Event Information: Queen’s park vs Falkirk

The Spiders welcome league leaders Falkirk to Hampden Park this this evening with kick off at 7.45pm in front of the BBC Scotland cameras.

The club look to provide accurate and up to date ‘Match Day’ information ahead of all of their games in order that Members, Season Ticket Holders and all supporters enjoy their afternoon as much as possible.

We would ask that everyone takes a couple of minutes to read through this information.

Match Tickets – are available on-line for both home and away sections HERE.
(Please note, there is no pay at the gate option).

To allow for any late comers tickets can be purchased on-line up to 8.30pm on the night – HERE.

Travelling to the National Stadium, Hampden Park – The club would encourage spectators, where possible, to use public transport for their journey to Hampden which is a five-minute walk from Mount Florida and King’s Park train stations.

Trains run from Glasgow Central. For further information call National Rail Enquiries on 03457 484 950. Please visit the ScotRail website at www.scotrail.co.uk to check service provision and to plan your journey ahead of time.

First Glasgow operate bus services to The city Stadium from the City Centre on a regular basis. Services include 5, 6, 7, 7A, 34, 90 and 31.

If you have to use the car, the stadium is located 5 minutes from Junction 1a of the M74. Exit onto Polmadie Road/A728 and follow as it merges onto Aikenhead Road.

The vehicle entrance to Hampden on Aikenhead Road will not be in operation and car users should turn into Mount Annan Drive and then Kinghorn Drive to access the Stadium car parks.

If you want to use ‘What Three Words’ to plan your route we would suggest using ‘apples.puddles.smooth’

Car and Coach Parking – All supporters arriving by car are asked to enter the main stadium car park via Mount Annan Drive/Kinghorn Drive – see map below

Home supporters are asked to thereafter park in the Red car park (on the left as you face Hampden towards the West End of the Ground) with visiting supporters asked to park in the Yellow car park (on the right as you face Hampden towards the East End of the Ground).

Coaches should enter the stadium campus via Cathcart Road/Letherby Drive and will be directed to park in the Blue car park adjacent to The city Stadium – see Map below

Supporters Bar 1867 – Bar 1867 in the JB McAlpine Pavilion at The city Stadium will be open from 5.30pm to all supporters until kick-off.

The Bar will re-open immediately after the final whistle.

Ticket Scanning – Member and Season Ticket cards, as well as match tickets, will be scanned ahead of entry with Turnstiles opening at 6.45pm.

Stadium Entry – (Home) – all Queen’s Park Members, Season Ticket holders and supporters should enter the South Stand from turnstile numbers 102 – 105 on the South West/Mount Florida side.

Supporter Seating – (Home) – Members and Season Ticket Holders who access Hampden via South Stand turnstiles numbered 102 – 105 can sit in the padded seats in Section O2.

This is the area that was used in the second half of last season. Please note that the seating in Section O2 is unallocated. Entry to that section will happen after a visual inspection by a Steward at the entrance of Passageway 51.

Match Day Ticket Holders can take a seat in either Section P1 or P2 in the South West stand. This seating is also classed as unallocated.

The back three rows of Section P1 has now been allocated to the singing section of Queen’s Park support.

Please consider all this information when selecting your seat.

Stewards will be on hand to assist you find these sections if required.

Stadium Entry and Seating (Visiting Supporters) – Visiting supporters should enter via Turnstile numbers 84-91 on the South East/Aikenhead Road side of the stadium and occupy seating in Section I on an unallocated basis.

Stewards will also be on hand to assist visiting fans.

Turnstiles open at 6.45pm.

Ticketing and entry procedures – When purchasing tickets on-line, home and away supporters are asked to ensure they purchase the correct classification of ticket i.e. Adult, Concession (65+), under-18 years of age or under-12 years of age.

Stewards will carry out spot checks to ensure the correct classification of ticket has been purchased prior to entry via the appropriate turnstiles. Buying the correct ticket will help with a smooth entry to the stadium.

Please note, all spectators (home and away) entering The National Stadium may be subject to a search prior to entry via the turnstiles.

Stadium Catering – Hampden operates as a cashless stadium so please bring a debit or credit card if you plan to purchase drinks or snacks.

Supporters with Accessible Needs – Any supporter who requires an accessible parking space, a wheelchair space or a seat which involves minimal steps should contact tickets@queensparkfc.co.uk or phone 0141 632 1275 during office hours and a member of club staff will be pleased to help.

Media and Scouts wishing to attend – All media and club scouts must request accreditation from the club no later than 24 hours prior to kick off. On match day, media and scouts should report to the Media Check in Desk in the South Stand to collect their passes/tickets.

The Media Check in Desk can be found by walking up the steps towards the South Stand main reception, then turning left before entering the glass doors and enter via the Museum entrance, not the traditional Media Entrance.
