SC in Preamble's socialist, secular case: Can't say what Parliament did in emergency all nullity

The Supreme Court of India is deliberating on petitions challenging the inclusion of "socialist" and "secular" in the Constitution's Preamble. While acknowledging judicial reviews of the 1976 amendment, the court highlighted that Indian socialism emphasizes a welfare state. A verdict is expected on November 25th.
