Manipur ethnic violence claimed 258 lives since May last year: Security Advisor

Manipur's ethnic violence between the Meitei and Kuki communities has resulted in 258 deaths since May. Authorities have apprehended 32 individuals for property destruction and recovered around 3,000 looted weapons. An additional 90 companies of the Central Armed Police Force will be deployed to enhance security and protect vulnerable areas.
