Congress appoints observers for Maharashtra, Jharkhand for post-election scenarios

Congress deployed observers for Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections. Exit polls predict victory for BJP alliances in both states. Maharashtra and Jharkhand went to polls on Wednesday and November 13 and 20, respectively. Vote counting will take place on November 23. The BJP is currently in power in Maharashtra. The JMM-Congress alliance is ruling in Jharkhand.
