Ana de Armas Is Kissing a New Man
Looks like Ana de Armas has really moved on from her heavily documented fever dream of a relationship with Ben Affleck. The actress was spotted on the streets of Madrid last week smooching a guy named Manuel Anido Cuesta, per “Page Six.” We don’t know too much about Cuesta — he does not appear to have a social-media presence — other than the fact that he’s the stepson of Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel.
According to the tabloid, the duo were seen laughing and hugging as they returned from a dinner date, and they later took de Armas’s dog Salsa for a walk. We don’t yet have any firm information on how they met or when they started dating, but it was likely sometime after de Armas broke up with her Tinder-executive boyfriend, Paul Boukadakis. That strange pairing was last photographed together in April 2023. Prior to her rendezvous with the tech guy, de Armas was involved with Sad Affleck after meeting him in 2019 on the set of Deep Water, a film in which they played husband and wife. The paparazzi attention later became so “horrible,” she said, that the actress decamped to the East Coast. That fling ended in late 2020, and de Armas has kept mostly out of the public eye ever since.
According to the BBC, Cuesta’s stepfather is the handpicked successor to Raúl Castro, and has faced widespread protests since he was elected in 2018 by the National Assembly. Seems like an eyebrow-raising family for Ana de Armas to get mixed up in, to say the least.
