Jimmy King makes disturbing discovery about nephew Tom King in Emmerdale
EVEN one of Tom King’s few remaining allies is soon going to see his true colours in a shocking twist that might see the abuser finally brought to justice.
The twisted vet relentlessly broke down his wife Belle Dingle over several months of verbal and physical abuse.
After she started speaking out he managed to turn the tables on her, making Belle seem like the violent one because she defended herself with an axe when he tried to kill her.
Although so far Tom’s uncle Jimmy has believed his version of events, things are soon going to change when the relative witnesses something that shocks him.
Tom rebounded from Belle after their split and has been dating Amelia Spencer.
She has been trying to make him look good to her friends and family in the Dales, who have started to suspect that Tom might be the abuser Belle says he is.
In an upcoming episode of the ITV soap Tom is going to try and get on Amelia’s good side again after lashing out at her during Bonfire Night.
He pretends to pray in church, and seeing this display of religious devotion makes her soften towards him.
Tom’s aunt Nicola has been suspicious of him ever since he threatened her young son, and he decides to take this opportunity to get Amelia to talk her round.
The villain hints that he can see himself marrying Amelia one day, which leaves her so excited that she speaks to Nicola to vouch for Tom.
Nicola is unimpressed, but Tom is so pleased with these developments that he starts to float the idea of moving away from Emmerdale with Amelia.
Sam Dingle is horrified to hear this and attempts to speak to local authorities, but the police say there is nothing they can charge Tom with.
The conniving man then sneaks into Belle’s house while she is running a bath and steals one of her tops.
Belle is shocked to see Amelia wearing her clothes when she runs into her in town later, and confronts the situation.
Amelia asks Tom if there is any truth to what Belle said, but the accusation sends him over the edge and he explodes at her.
Jimmy previously didn’t believe his wife when Nicola said there was something suspicious about Tom, but he is shocked to see his nephew dragging Amelia out of the house.
Their explosive row ends up being perfectly timed, as DS Foy also sees Tom being forceful with Amelia while coming to take him to the station for questioning.
