Trader Joe's planning fourth Central Texas store
BEE CAVE, Texas (KXAN) — Get ready, Trader Joe's fans! A new store is coming to Central Texas.
Trader Joe's will open its fourth Austin-area store in Bee Cave, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The newest Central Texas store will be in the Shops at The Galleria, replacing an office supplies store.
Store construction is expected to start in February and finish in June, according to filing estimates, but those dates are not official.
Trader Joe's has three other area locations in downtown Austin, northwest Austin and Rollingwood.
KXAN reached out to Trader Joe's for more information about the new store. This article will be updated if more information is received.
The neighborhood grocery chain sells mostly Trader Joe's-branded food and household items including shopper favorites like cauliflower gnocchi, chili and lime-flavored corn tortilla chips, soup dumplings, butternut squash mac & cheese, mandarin orange chicken and inexpensive wine known as "Two Buck Chuck."
