State Route 315 reopens after jackknifed semi fuel spill
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A fuel spill on a north Columbus highway caused significant traffic for football fans headed to the Ohio State-Indiana game Saturday morning.
A police dispatcher said a semi-truck jackknifed at 6:25 a.m. on State Route 315 southbound near Third Avenue. The truck was carrying fuel which spilled on the roadway. Police shutdown SR-315 southbound lanes from the Interstate 270 interchange all the way down to Interstate 670 for around two hours, per Ohio State Athletics.
A police dispatcher confirmed that the road re-opened just after 8:30 a.m.
