Jharkhand poll results: In Ranchi, it's a one-man show

Hemant Soren, leading the JMM-led INDIA alliance, secured a resounding victory in the Jharkhand elections. Soren's focus on local issues, consolidation of tribal and minority votes, and his image as a leader resisting the BJP's attempts to unseat him proved to be a winning formula. The alliance won 56 seats, the highest tally for any government in the state's history.
