Asda shoppers race to buy new Christmas-themed mayonnaise flavour that is ‘perfect with turkey sandwiches’
A NEW Christmas-themed condiment has shoppers going wild about all the things they can pair it with.
To mark the Christmas season, Asda has launched a festive mayonnaise.
The Roast Potato Flavour Mayo is the new addition to the A Magical Christmas at Asda range.
Shoppers can bag the condiment for just £1.10 from stores now.
According to Asda, the mayo is “perfect in turkey sandwiches.”
Facebook users have already posted the Roast Potato mayo on various review groups.
“Need to try this,” one shopper wrote.
“You don’t understand how much I need this,” another added.
“How stunning does this sound!!” a third wrote while tagging their loved ones.
While Asda recommends that the mayo goes well with turkey sandwiches, some shoppers have had other ideas.
“This is SCREAMING to be put into mash potato,” one wrote.
“For the Christmas toasties?” another suggested.
One went even further than just using it for Christmas leftovers, deciding instead to go the whole hog.
“I feel like you need this for ur Xmas day dinner,” they wrote as the new mayo flavour threatens classics like gravy, bread sauce and cranberry sauce.
But, not everyone is convinced by the new product.
One said: “Ehhh Am not sure about this.”

Another was definitely sure about their feelings, simply saying, “Umm no.”
Asda is not the only retailer to launch some rather unusual Christmas products this year.
Heinz Beanz has revealed a limited edition can of Beanz Pigs in Blankets for £2.50.
But The Sun’s Abigail Wilson said in her review that they “should be illegal” and that they “left her gagging.”
Now, for those who are a bit tired of the Christmas sandwiches that are rolled out year after year in meal deal sections, M&S has a new festive lunchtime treat.
The Turkey Feast Pasta has pasta topped with shredded turkey, bacon and stuffing.
This is all combined in a mustard and maple dressing with a gravy dressing pot.
For £3.20, Wilson declared it is a festive item you “won’t want to miss.”
