THE BBC has finally admitted that it paid for disgraced Huw Edwards’ treatment following his suspension last year.
The broadcaster refused to say how much it spent, but the bill could run into tens of thousands of pounds.

The Beeb has now said it paid for initial treatment in England, before it was aware of police charges.
It said disclosing further details could cause significant harm and distress to the star.
Separately, Edwards, 63, later pleaded guilty to possessing indecent pics of children and got a suspended jail term.
