Centre bans ULFA for five more years under UAPA
The Indian government has issued a five-year ban on the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) under the Unlawful Activities Act. The ban follows ULFA's involvement in multiple bombings and IED use, particularly leading up to Independence Day 2024.
