Bird Flu found in backyard flock, says Okla. Dept. of Agriculture

Roger Mills Co., Okla. (KFOR) - The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture is alerting Oklahomans to a highly contagious bird flu that has been found in a backyard flock in Western Oklahoma.

According to Agriculture officials, the disease alert was issued after a backyard flock in Roger Mills County was first detected by the department advising poultry owners to take every precaution to protect flocks from exposure to wild birds and to report sick domestic birds.
