The Toms Are Closing Schwartz & Sandy’s
There’s been a death in the Vanderpump Rules family, and just before Thanksgiving, too. How sad. Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz announced on Monday that their restaurant Schwartz & Sandy’s will be closing at the end of December, a little more than two years after it opened. Now is your last chance to feast on lobster corn dogs and “salmon and tofu tikka masala.”
Both of the reality stars also shared statements on their own Instagram pages. Schwartz reminisced on the good days, writing, “We got to celebrate so many meaningful moments; birthdays, honeymoons, promotional events, the list goes on.” It really was the meaningful promotional events that gave Schwartz & Sandy’s its spark.
Sandoval opted for a slightly more bitter tone, vaguely alluding to the hell that Scandoval wrought on his business. “The allure of being associated with reality TV has hidden what is an amazing spot and location for LA locals as well. I highly recommend you check us out, especially if you haven’t yet,” he wrote posted on Instagram.
Another win for Ariana Madix. The Toms still have stuff going on, though. TomTom is still open, Sandoval is going to be doing Traitors press soon, and there may or may not be a new season of VPR coming down the pike. If things do get slow for the restaurateurs, they could always take their talents over to The Valley.
