Eknath Shinde resigns, asked to act as caretaker CM

Eknath Shinde Resignation: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde resigned on Tuesday after the assembly election results, with the governor asking him to continue as caretaker CM until a new one is appointed. Shinde, along with Deputy CMs Fadnavis and Pawar, met the governor.
