Former chairman of Bank of China gets death sentence with reprieve
JINAN, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Liu Liange, former chairman of the Bank of China, was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve for bribe-taking and illegal loan-issuing on Tuesday.
He was found to have taken bribes worth over 121 million yuan (about 16.8 million U.S. dollars), the court said.
