Capital Region BOCES host Thanksgiving meal for deaf, hard of hearing students
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Capital Region BOCES is hosting a traditional Thanksgiving feast for deaf or hard-of-hearing students this Tuesday. The special dinner will be hosted by teachers and faculty at Farnsworth Middle School.
Interpreters and speech pathologists will be in attendance to help with any communication barriers. Organizers want to unite people to "spark joy and foster community and connectedness" over a warm meal.
This feast will be at noon in Room 562 of the middle school in Guilderland.
