UP achieves record paddy procurement under Kharif season 2024-25

Uttar Pradesh's paddy procurement for 2024-25 has exceeded 7.28 lakh metric tons, a significant jump from last year's 5.79 lakh metric tons by the same period. Over 105,000 farmers have received Rs 1,464 crore in payments within 48 hours, facilitated by 4,215 procurement centers. Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath emphasised transparency and efficiency in the process.
