Blinken finally set to testify on Afghanistan pullout after months of resistance

The hearing, scheduled for Dec. 11, will come roughly three months after the secretary of state skipped a similar hearing before the committee, violating a congressional subpoena to appear "despite repeated warnings and accommodations."
