'You're gonna die’: Feds say man posted chilling threats against Trump and his family
Federal agents arrested an Arizona man after he allegedly unleashed a violent barrage of threats targeting President-elect Donald Trump and his family with death, according to media reports.
Manuel Tamayo-Torres was arrested Tuesday in California after he caught the attention of authorities by posting online videos where he made at times rambling and curse-laden threats while also apparently brandishing an AR 15-style rifle and other weapons, ABC News reported.
And it seems Tamayo-Torres came startling close to the president-elect: in August, the man recorded his trip to a Glendale, Arizona arena where Trump was holding a campaign rally, according to charging documents filed against him.
“While the charging documents only refer to Trump as ‘Individual 1,’ they say Tamayo-Torres made ‘vague yet direct threats’ against ‘the president-elect,’ and sources familiar with the investigation separately confirmed Tamayo-Torres' alleged threats targeted Trump,” ABC News reported on Tuesday.
“[Y]ou're gonna die," Tamayo-Torres allegedly said in a video he posted on Thursday, the outlet added. "[Y]our son's gonna die. Your whole family is going to die. ... I'm going to put a hole in your face."

In addition to the violent threats, federal authorities also say that Tamayo-Torress had claimed in recent months that his children were kidnapped and sex-trafficked by “Individual 1,” who he also alleged kidnapped his daughter with help from the Secret Service.
“Earlier in November, Tamayo-Torres allegedly posted a video threatening ‘Individual 1’ while holding up ‘what appears to be a white AR 15-style rifle with a 30-round magazine inserted into it,’ charging documents said."
In recent months, he reportedly posted frequent videos threatening Trump “on a near-daily basis."
Trump has faced multiple assassination plots, most notably at a rally in July where the incoming president was shot in the ear when Thomas Matthew Crooks hoisted himself onto a nearby building and opened fire.
