Charity Kick-a-Thon 2024

Join us for our 20th annual charity kick-a-thon! We are raising money for charity – this year for Ladli Foundation and Friendship Circle (see below). During the week of December 13-19, we will do kicks – LOTS of them… For the entire week, we will be holding kick-a-thon events in almost all of our youth classes, building up to the finale on Thursday evening. In that 7pm class, we will do 2025 repetitions of maegeri (front-kick) as well as 2025 repetitions of gyakuzuki (reverse-punch) in a two hour session. We welcome those from all over the world to participate with us over Zoom each year. New records set this year:
Oldest to do 2000+ kicks at the finale: Dan (63)
Teen doing the most repetitions during the entire week-long event: Kai (13) 5674 kicks + 2024 punches (total 7698 repetitions)
Most kicks in a single day: (tie) Senseis Jon & Novely – on Thursday, they each did 5064 kicks (plus 2024 punches)
Grand total for the dojo: 115,248 kicks + 23,614 punches = 138,862 repetitions for charity!
