Punjab significantly reduced stubble burning incidents in 2024. The state managed almost 20 million tonnes of paddy straw using various methods. Over 6 million tonnes were managed through methods like baling and raking. The agriculture department will analyze equipment needs for 2025. They will then create an action plan and request funding.
