Over 100 3-D printed guns found in months-long investigation, Bergen man arrested

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Bergen man is facing more weapon charges after over 100 firearms were uncovered in a months-long, multi-agency investigation.

On September 29, 2024, the Genesee County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police searched several locations in Genesee and Orleans County, which led to over 100 3-D printed weapons being recovered.

35-year-old Peter Celentano is charged with the following:

  • First-degree criminal possession of a weapon (CPW) — Possesses ten or more firearms
  • Third-degree CPW — possesses a large capacity ammo feeding device (708 total counts)
  • Third-degree CPW — possesses a firearm silencer (Two counts total)
  • Fourth-degree CPW — possesses a ghost gun (105 counts total)
  • Fourth-degree CPW — possesses an unfinished frame (199 counts total)
  • Unlawful wearing of body armor

Prior to this arrest, investigators said Celentano was charged with illegal possession of machine guns after machine gun devices and receivers were found at his Rochester Street home, two properties associated with him in Lyndonville, and at an apartment in Medina. He has been held since this arraignment.

Celentano was arraigned at Orleans County Centralized Arraignment and has bail set to $50K cash and $100k bond.
