Hit Sky drama Gangs of London returns with first look at explosive third series as star is left soaked in blood
SKY have released a first look at the explosive third series of Gangs of London showing a star of the show covered in blood.
The acclaimed drama is set to return next year and they have unveiled a set of first-look photos and a short teaser for the show.
Gangs of London is a British action thriller crime television series created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery.
It follows the struggles between rival gangs and other criminal organisations in present-day London and is beloved by fans.
Series three sees Slow Horses star Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù returning as Elliot Carter, as he navigates his new position as a top criminal alongside the Dumanis.
But chaos reigns in London after a spiked shipment of cocaine kills hundreds and it throws their operations into disarray.
An official synopsis for Gangs of London’s third series states: “The Wallaces, Luan, Lale, and the street gangs face devastating consequences
“as personal vendettas collide with professional power struggles bleeding into violent turf wars.
“In the ruthless fight for control of London’s criminal underworld, no-one is safe. This was no accident — it was a calculated attack. But who’s pulling the strings?”
The newly released images from the season show Elliot and Luan standing in front of a fairground with their guns aimed.
We also see Joe Cole back in the series as criminal empire heir Sean Wallace.
Also featured in the photos is a hooded, unknown person walking away from a car explosion.
Other returning characters include Ed Dumani, Billy Wallace, Shannon Dumani, Lale, Asif Afridi, Mirlinda Dushaj, Saba, and Faz.
Newcomers, Andrew Koji, Richard Dormer, T’Nia Miller, Phil Daniels, Ruth Sheen and Mat Fraser will also be joining the Gangs of London’s cast.
Earlier this year, Season 3 was announced on social media much to fans delight.
A short teaser video accompanied the message which showed three bullet holes – each representing a series.

Fans were overjoyed and one said: “One of the best shows in years.”
“Amazing news,” said a second viewer.
While a third said: “We are waiting for it.”
Hopefully they won’t wait too much longer for a specific date to be announced.
Gangs of London season 3 will be available on Sky Atlantic in 2025.
