View: Count and cut out Delhi's dirty air
Delhi has faced in-migration, urbanisation, a jump in vehicular traffic, industrialisation, and construction activity over the last several decades. But development planning and execution haven't coped with these changes. With the rapid growth in the economy, there is an even larger demand for energy. Plans are on to build more coal-fired power plants (CFPP). This will lead to increased emissions of SO2 and NOx.
