Black Friday sales are in full swing for the holiday shopping season, and retailers like Dick’s Sporting Goods have something for everyone on your shopping list, yourself included, with hundreds of ongoing markdowns. Everything from smokeless fire pits to running shoes is on sale, and there's even a selection of Carhartt beanies for only $10 that make great stocking stuffers. But one of the best deals to score during the sale is this iconic everyday Nike sneaker, which is a must-buy right now while it's under $65.

Nike’s Blazer Mid ‘77 Sneakers are now selling for $63 during Dick's' Black Friday sale—40% off their normal $105 list price. With a heritage that dates back to the late ‘70s, there’s not a lot to say that hasn’t already been said, but even today’s upgraded versions are still selling as strong as ever, with a 4.5-star rating after hundreds of votes. This version, featuring the black Swoosh logo, is available in sizes 7.5 to 15, but they're starting to sell out already. For those not fans of a mid-cut sneaker, the low version is also on sale, with an even friendlier $54 price tag.

There was a time when Nike was just starting to emerge on the sneaker scene back during the ‘70s with a stellar basketball shoe. Their first major design eventually became the Blazer, and the name ended up sticking. Today’s models still have the same timeless look with more modern tech, ensuring they are the most comfortable version yet. It's made from a combination of leather and synthetic materials for comfort without taking away from its roots, with the varying pops of color on the Nike Swoosh to add allure. Autoclave construction helps to fuse the midsole to the outsole, making for a seamless design on brand with the original models, while the exposed foam on the tongue gives off the same perfect, old-school throwback look.

One shopper said they're the perfect combination of “vintage style plus modern construction" with "classic style and versatility.” They also said, “The suede accents on the midsole add character, and the white leather is sharp, especially in contrast with an iconic black Nike swoosh. They're definitely a statement piece, but the classic style and color scheme work with everything…it's a great pick for a throwback look that feels current.”

“A true classic," as another shopper put it. "Nike Blazers are a timeless footwear classic. They fit well and offer style in the gym or on the street. Getting them for a great price is an added bonus.”

Nike’s Blazer Mid ‘77 Sneakers are flying off the shelves, and rightfully so at this price, so grab your pair before the sale ends on Dec. 2, but they might sell out before then.
