Medrick Burnett Jr., an up-and-coming linebacker at Alabama A&M University, has died a month after suffering a traumatic in-game head injury. Burnett Jr., who joined the team earlier this year, reportedly suffered a head-on cranial collision while defending a kickoff in the team's annual rivalry game against Alabama State on Oct. 26.
