NBA superstar Russell Westbrook invests into professional soccer for Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Former Thunder player and basketball superstar Russell Westbrook has partnered with Soccer Team Energy FC to bring professional soccer into Oklahoma.

The partnership with Westbrook includes a world-class stadium and entertainment district.

The City Council on last week agreed to land donated for the proposed future site of the multipurpose stadium.
