Saratoga Springs Turkey Trot road closures announced
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The 23rd annual Christopher Dailey 5K Turkey Trot kicks off at City Hall in Saratoga Springs at 8:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Saratoga Springs Police announced the accompanying road closures and parking restrictions that will be in place for the yearly event.
Closed streets
Closed from 8 a.m. to end of the Turkey Trot
- Broadway from Division Street to Van Dam Street/Arterial
- North Broadway from Van Dam Street to Skidmore College Entrance - both directions
- East Avenue from the Arterial to North Broadway
No-parking zones
- North Broadway near the race's finish line from Van Dam Street to Greenfield Avenue
- Broadway from Caroline Street to Van Dam Street
- Church Street from Broadway to Woodlawn Avenue
- Lake Avenue from Broadway to Maple Avenue
The race is expected to end around 10 a.m., and all roads will re-open by 11 a.m. Cars parked in no-parking zones will be towed starting at 6 a.m. through the end of the event.
